Early in his career, Felix bounced from one wrestling promotion to another, never staying at one place for more than several months. While he never became a star in the United States, he achieved success in Japan and Mexico. After fourteen years of traveling around the globe, he decided to retire so he could spend more time with his family and share his wealth of knowledge and experience to future generations.

A construction welder by day, Felix teaches wing chun and trains up-and-coming wrestlers in his garage. Along with his long-time friend, Robert Macias, Felix runs a small, independent promotion called Tao of Wrestling (TOW).

Twice a month, his students perform at a local gymnasium, Rikidozan Hall, where they can hone their craft and entertain a small audience. Recently, the Universal Wrestling Alliance has expressed interest in recruiting wrestlers from Felix’s Tao of Wrestling because of his well-rounded students.
